Moti Baa ignores Khyati and assigns Meeta for Prem's mother's ritual in Anupamaa

 Shahs are shocked upon hearing the Kotharis' decision to perform the ritual at their place. Hasmuk tells Khyati they should have informed everyone earlier. Khyati explains that Moti Baa had decided earlier that day. She apologises to the Shah family for the sudden request. Anupama reassures her, saying there's no need for an apology. Khyati mentions that Moti Baa wants to begin the rituals with a prayer to the Lord. Rahi decides to go and bring the Shahs to the ceremony.

However, Khyati tells Rahi that he cannot join them for the prayer, as Moti Baa believes it's inauspicious for the bride and groom to meet before the wedding. Leela asks if Rahi will be allowed to join Prem during the wedding day. Anupama intervenes, stopping Moti Baa from commenting further.

Hasmuk takes the responsibility of carrying the necessary items to the Kothari house. Rahi appears upset, and Ansh teases her. Meanwhile, Radha plans to video call Rahi from the Kothari house. 

At the Kothari house, Prem is selecting his outfit and mentions he would have preferred a court marriage. Moti Baa, however, insists that Prem has chosen the girl of her choice and should be allowed to plan the wedding as he likes.

Moti Baa warmly welcomes the Shah family, expressing her appreciation for their presence at the Kothari mansion. Jhanki meets Anupama, and Moti Baa directs the staff to enter through the back door. Anupama takes a stand for Jhanki, clarifying she is more than just a staff to them. Later, Anupama clarifies to Prem that Rahi cannot join him for the prayer. Prem thinks to himself that had he known earlier; he would have cancelled the event at the Kothari house. Parag compliments Prem, and Khyati admires Prem's good looks, comparing him to Parag.

Rahi begins to miss Prem, and Baa instructs Hasmuk to wash Prem's feet as part of the ritual in Anuj's absence. However, Prem is visibly offended by the request, as he does not want Hasmuk touching his feet. Moti Baa insists that Prem cannot interrupt the traditions of their culture. Anupama, on the other hand, argues that the Kotharis are conveniently bending their customs. Despite this, she decides to carry out the ritual herself.

Parag points out that the bride's mother should not perform the ritual if her husband is absent, and Ansh steps up to perform the ritual in his place as Rahi's brother. The pandit confirms that Ansh can take on this role. Later, Moti Baa scolds a staff member for wearing black at the function, and Rahi becomes anxious, worrying that Prem's black outfit will cause a scene.

Rahi recalls that only Hasmuk and Prem are aware of the outfit selection, and soon both Anupama and Ansh discover that Hasmuk and Rahi chose a black outfit for Prem. Anupama is left worried, anticipating Moti Baa's reaction. Meanwhile, the pandit asks Prem's mother to take part in the ritual. Moti Baa assigns Meeta to carry out the ritual. Prem, however, insists on including Gayatri as well, bringing her picture into the mix.

Badshah and Radha decide to play a game of hide and seek. Radha strategically places the phone where both Rahi and Prem can see each other. She then puts an earphone in Prem’s ear and excitedly informs him that Rahi is watching the ritual through a video call. Delighted by this, Prem’s excitement grows. Before leaving, Radha playfully mentions that she is taking a big risk and expects a special gift in return. Prem agrees, and they share a lighthearted moment.

Meanwhile, as Prem catches sight of Rahi, his happiness is evident. In response, Rahi showers him with flying kisses. Lost in the moment, Prem suddenly reacts during the prayer, just as Meeta is about to place a dupatta on his head, as instructed by the pandit. His unexpected reaction startles everyone, but he quickly clarifies that he was reacting to a fly. With the confusion settled, the ritual continues smoothly.

Later, the pandit asks Anupama to present the shagun to Prem, which she does. The priest then instructs for the cloth to be removed, causing Hasmukh, Anupama, and Ansh to grow tense.
