Anupamaa’s Launch Postpones; Yeh RIshta Kya Kehlata Hai To Air For An Hour

Coronavirus has been declared a pandemic and everyone is taking their best precautions against the disease. Tv industry too is trying to equip itself with the situation. Anupamaa, the Rajan Shahi’s show, was scheduled to be launched today. But it has been postponed due to the Coronavirus.

As we all know, the entertainment industry, after a meeting, held yesterday, with all the bodies has decided that the shoots will be stopped from 19th till 31st March owing to the growing concern of the deadly and life-threatening virus. Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey will not launch today as per the schedule. To keep up the airings, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be airing forty five minute episodes starting today from 9 to 10 pm.

When contacted, producer Rajan Shahi confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we are not launching Anupamaa today. We will air the extended episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starting today.”
