Chief Minister Of Maharashtra ask to Prepare Action Plan to star shooting
The outbreak of the novel coronavirus has effected world's economy, I also has led to a huge loss to entertainment industry and has stopped,The shooting of about 70 Hindi serial and films, 10 web series had stopped because of the pandemic, which has affected the livelihood of more than three lakh daily-wage workers and technicians. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray asked statues the entertainment industry to prepare an practical plan resumption with limited work force to start shooting and to run post-production activities keeping in mind social distancing norms amidst the lockdown.
Shooting and other production activities of for Shows and films remained suspended since mid-March due to coronavirus pandemic.
"The government would consider action plan on how shooting and post-production activities can be resumed in a limited way by adhering to social distancing and other norms," Uddhav Thackeray told.
Also CM added that government is considering on providing rent concessions to production houses which have their sets erected in the Film City and supporting folk artists.
