India Lockdown 4.0 Guidelines LIVE Updates
Lockdown 4.0 will come into force on Monday, according to an order by the National Disaster Management Authority. The Centre has extended the nationwide lock down effect till May 31 with some significant relaxations. According to the guidelines, salons, barbershops, shopping complexes and markets can now open starting Monday. However, domestic flights, schools/colleges and hotels will continue to remain shut throughout the country.
The Inter-state movement of passenger vehicles has also allowed by government with mutual consent of states.
The nationwide lock-down was first imposed for twenty one days starting from 25th March and then lock-down extended on April 15 and later on May 4 lockdown extented till 17th May.
As the country spending it;s 54th day on lockdown it's reported 90,927 Covid19 infections and death toll soared to 2,872 by 17th May.
As per the new guidelines,
- Movement of individuals are strictly prohibited between 7 pm to 7 am
- Pregnant women and children, Persons above 65 years of age shall stay at home
- Containment, Buffer, Red, Green and Orange zones
- Ministry of Home Affairs permitted Sports complexes to open on Sunday.
