Anupama 1st July 2022 Written Episode Update: Shahs And Kapadias Enjoy Kinjal’s Baby Shower Ceremony

Anupama says baby needs both naani/maternal grandmother and daadi/paternal grandmother’s love and they both have right on the baby. She asks Rakhi to perform the ritual first. Rakhi performs ritual and murmurs in Kinjal’s ears for the baby to have a class and taste like her. Leela asks her what is nagin murmuring in English. 

Rakhi says that the baby should be like her. Leela asks why would their baby like her. Their argument starts accusing each other. Anupama asks them to continue fighting and let the baby shower ceremony go in vain, let the baby know what their grandmother and great grandmother really are. Rakhi apologizes followed by Leela. Anuj asks them to reconcile their differences and unite for the baby. Anupama threatens to start her 5-page lecture else. They both apologize each other.

Ankush and Barkha perform ritual next and give a costly gift. Kinjal says it’s too much. Barkha looking at Leela taunts that they are Kapadias and not like other who give only fruits and flowers. Dolly performs ritual next and gifts an FD for the baby. GK and Jignesh perform ritual next. Adhik and Sara perform ritual next and joke on each other. Pakhi gets emotional and cries. Samar jokes that she is crying as she will lose the status of being the youngest family member. Adhik thinks she is emotional and groovy.

Anupama calls Samar to perform a special ritual. Pakhi asks why Samar and not her. Anupama explains that this ritual is performed by Kanha of the house and describes how Samar fulfilled his responsibility of a devar/BIL, brother, friend, etc., to Kinjal. Kinjal and Toshu also praise Samar’s love and care towards them. Samar emotionally performs ritual.

Anupama says its time for grandfather and grandmother to perform the ritual. She asks Pakhi to call Vanraj. Pakhi tries and finds him not reachable. Anupama and Anuj decide to step into Vanraj and Kavya’s shoes and enact how they would behave. Everyone laughs. They both then perform ritual on Vanraj and Kavya’s behalf. Leela thanks them for performing the ritual forgetting their differences with Vanraj. Anupama then gives a long 10-page lecture (as they say) on motherhood and how the mother sacrifices and immensely loves her baby.

Rakhi cries emotionally hearing her lecture. Pakhi clicks family selfie. After the rituals, Rakhi offers juice to Barkha and says she wants to talk till the dance and other entertainments start. Anupama goes to room to get a pillow for Kinjal. Anuj walks behind her and gets romantic.
