Rupali Ganguly’s Co-Star Confirms Re-Entry Months After EXIT in Anupamaa

 Anupamaa Twist: Since its premiere in 2020, the Star Plus drama Anupamaa, crafted by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions, has cultivated a loyal following. The show features Rupali Ganguly as Anupama and Gaurav Khanna as Anuj, and includes notable performances by Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, and Nishi Shah. 

The recent six-month leap has introduced major plot twists, including the surprising separations of Bapuji (Arvind Vaidya) from Baa (Alpana Buch) and Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) from Anupama (Rupali Ganguly), leaving audiences in shock. 

ANUPAMAA LEAP: WILL AKUSH AND BARKHA RETURN? 

In the latest developments, Bapuji has chosen to live with Anupama, while Baa has opted to stay with Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). Vanraj is now succeeding in business, whereas Anupama has found a new purpose working at Asha Bhavan, an NGO that aids the underprivileged. Even with her new responsibilities, Anupama continues to be deeply worried about Anuj and Aadhya. 

Meanwhile, Anuj is depicted struggling with severe emotional distress. He is shown aimlessly wandering and experiencing a profound sense of loss and disorientation. 

Amid these dramatic shifts, there are rumors that Anupamaa makers are set to bring back the characters of Ankush and Barkha played by Rohit Bakshi and Ashlesha Sawant respectively. In a recent interview, Rohit finally confirmed his re-entry but revealed that he's back just for a small time. Yes, you read that right! 

ROHIT BAKSHI AKA ANKUSH CONFIRMS ANUPAMAA RE-ENTRY 

Talking about the same, he told ETimes, "I have been looking for a substantial role since last year and it was unexpected when I got a call for Anupamaa. They wanted my character to return and I was ready for it. But Ankush I think will be back only for a few episodes. But it's great to be back on the set and work with the set of people I have shot before last year." Without revealing details, the actor stated that he has already started shooting for Anupamaa. "I have started shooting for the show and my entry should air in a few days. I can't reveal much at this point but I am happy to be back," he concluded.
