A real time challenging phase is about to kick start now for Anupama after the generation leap when she is still living with the Shah Family and taking care of them. As per the ongoing storyline, we see how Anuj and Anupama get separated and Aadhya runs away. 

After so many years, now Aadhya is living in Dwarka while here Anupama is taking care of Mahi and Ansh alongside Ishani and Pari. Therefore, Anupama celebrates Mahi's birthday but writes Aadhya's name on it.

Mahi calms down Anupama from panicking and she assures that she is also waiting for Aadhya just like her. However, destiny has other plans for Anupama and Aadhya wherein Mahi doesn't want them to reunite.
